AMAN Consultant, founded in 1991 by Sherry Amanpour
as a search firm
serving financial institutions has evolved today based on the
changing job market into a career and
organizational advisory practice. The firm
coaches individuals to fulfilling work
based on today's new and exploding opportunities and advises
organizations, on a selective basis, on the environment necessary
to attract, develop and retain talent in a shrinking talent
pool.
Sherry Amanpour began her career as an Iranian
diplomat (1 of 11 women in total cadre of 400) at the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs in Iran. Sherry's last assignment was at the Iranian
Embassy in France where she facilitated the Foreign Ministry's role in
regime change in Iran (see BIO tab). Having worked and lived in diverse
careers and capacities in Asia, the Middle East, Europe and U.S.
Sherry has had a hands on approach on how to achieve desired results
by understanding human behavior and motivations.
To date hundreds have found fulfilling work while others
have successfully made career transitions. On a selective basis, financial
services organizations have been advised on
selecting and retaining a talented work force.

 | We will NOT accept remuneration unless each client is satisfied
with results. | | Sherry's ability to 'connect' with each individual allows her,
based on unfiltered information, and no predetermined solution to first
diagnose the problem. | | Our 35 year track record in the U.S. and globally,
judgment,
understanding and interpretation of information has been the catalyst for
executing desired results. | | We design (don't engineer), discover (don't dictate) and
decipher (don't presuppose) solutions often collaboratively with clients. | | Profound respect for differences with an attempt to understand
each circumstance and nuances that are not readily recognizable but
instrumental in reaching desired behaviors. | | We work more as 'gardeners' than 'mechanics.' | | Although it is best for clients to speak to our effectiveness we
hope the firms tenure, diversity and volume of work is indicative. |

 | Employers seeking to hire senior and middle management. | | Professionals seeking an executive coach. | | Organizations looking to : |
-assess if they have the right talent to achieve purpose
-HOW to attract, develop and retain talent
